I built this railing four years ago for a house on Lake Keowee, SC.  The house has lots of trees and vegetation all around it and with abundant glass, you have the feel of being in the trees, even when you are standing inside.  I tried to pick up on that by forging out 800 branches and jointing them into this railing.  It does indeed meet code and the points are all turned out for safety.  If the client ever becomes concerened about the safety of the railing, I provided a way of attaching clear plexiglass on the inside of the railing.
